Muirfield Riding Therapy (MRT) has an exciting opportunity for a talented fundraiser to join its dedicated team of trained volunteers. MRT is a charity that offers riding therapy free of charge to children and adults of all ages with various disabilities in a safe and stimulating environment.
As Fundraising Manager you will play a critical part in our on-going success and our ability to provide our vital services.
Your focus will on be identifying and delivering new fundraising opportunities, whilst developing long lasting relationships with donors and volunteers. We are looking for someone with a passion for fundraising and the creative flair necessary to maximise supporter involvement.
You will be responsible for working towards personal income targets as well as maintaining high quality fundraising by keeping yourself updated with developments in the wider sector.
To be successful in this role you will need previous experience of fundraising in the charity or NFP sector, with a track record of meeting income targets and generating new revenue streams. Experience of generating income through trusts, grants and/or legacies will also be preferable. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to engage and inspire groups of volunteers.
