UPDATE 04/03/19: IMPORTANT Health & Safety notice –
You will be aware that there has been an Equine Flu outbreak in the U.K. over the past few months. There have been no recent new cases in Scotland and we want to help keep it that way. We have measures in place to protect our ponies and yours. It is important that you follow the guidelines below when visiting our West Fenton yard for our event on Sunday 17th March;
*Please do not attend if your horse/pony is showing flu symptoms or you have had any contact with an equine showing flu symptoms.
*Please bring your PONY’S PASSPORT on event day – all passports will be checked on the day for an up to date flu vaccination. Please have it open ready at the appropriate page for the Show Secretary to check at registration, thanks.
*Please do not touch any ponies in the fields on the yard.
*Please wear clean clothes and boots that have not had contact with other horses.
*Park in designated parking areas only and avoid coned off areas.
*Please wash hands before coming to the yard and on leaving.
*Please keep any dogs on the lead at all times and well away from the ponies – they can’t change their clothes!
*Please take any dog poo bags away with you, and under no circumstances leave any bags laying around the yard or Arena.
Thank you for your help.
