DESCRIPTION:Our Winter Hay Barn is back\, till February! Buy a ‘Bale’ for our incredible therapy ponies this winter\, and we’ll add it to our Hay Barn here in our Centre reception\n\n  \n\nHow to Buy A Bale\n\n  \n\n1. Choose a size of bale – Wee Bale\, Family Bale or Big Bale\n  \n\n\n2. Make a donation in the office at the Indoor Arena\, West Fenton\, EH39 5AL\, with cash or card\, or via our online page\, click here  – we’ve made some suggestions\, but feel free to choose your own amount\n  \n\n\n3 We’ll add your ‘bale’ to our ‘Hay Barn’ in our Centre reception here at West Fenton! Your donation can be anonymous\, or we will add your name to a label on your bale. Feel free to come and visit and see your bale.\n \n\nPlease spread the word\n\nOur 2024/25 winter appeal runs from November to February and aims to raise awareness of the impact our therapy ponies have for our participants\, and to raise funds to support their care over the winter months. \nEach of our specially trained therapy ponies bring positive benefits to their participants\, which can include physical improvements to posture\, muscle tone\, balance and coordination\, but also improvements to wellbeing through making connections with our ponies and our volunteers\, and enjoying being outside on the farm. \nFor pony stories and photos\, see our website and follow our social channels and Latest news blog! \nWe are fully reliant on fundraising to meet our annual running costs. SUMMARY:Event four: Winter Series Show Jumping 2024
DESCRIPTION:We’re delighted to announce our long running fundraiser\, our Winter Series Show Jumping Championships\, is back for a 17th year. There are four events in the Series on the following Sundays: 29th September\, 20th October\, 10th November\, and 1st December.\n  \nOur Winter Series\, if you’ve not heard of it before\, is open to ALL AGES\, with 10 Classes there’s something for everyone. The Series is all about promoting confidence\, and especially encourages\nnovice or inexperienced riders and equines. Benefit from an all-round professional Show Jumping experience\, but in a relaxed\, friendly\, encouraging atmosphere. As it’s a fundraiser for the charity\, by entering you’re doing good too! \n  \nYou’re welcome to attend as many or as few as you wish. There is a points system so if you and your equine would like to be in with a shout of winning one of our three trophies\, then we recommend attending all four events. SUMMARY:An Afternoon of Christmas Music at Dirleton Kirk
DESCRIPTION:All are welcome to join us for our 3rd annual Christmas event at historic Dirleton Kirk. A delightful afternoon celebration of classical and lighthearted Christmas music & song. Local Gullane choir Coro Con Spirito will be joined by friends from Borders Chamber Choir\, Edinburgh Festival Chorus & Chorus of the Royal Northern Sinfona. Tickets are free\, but must be pre-booked.\n  \nWe look forward to welcoming you to our Afternoon of Christmas Music\, with a fabulous mix of choristers representing four choirs!  We will have local Gullane & Aberlady choir Coro Con Spirito\, who will be joined by friends from Borders Chamber Choir\, some members of Edinburgh Festival Chorus\, and also some members of the Chorus of the Royal Northern Sinfona. There will also be carol singing to get you in the Christmas mood\, and please join us in the Kirk Hall afterwards for festive refreshments \n\n  \nTickets\n\n\nTickets are FREE but must be pre-booked here\n\n  \nIn Aid of Muirfield Riding Therapy\nDonations on the night are welcome. SUMMARY:Santa's MRT Pony Parade\, Gullane 2024!
DESCRIPTION:‘Neigh’bours! Santa and Mrs Claus are coming to Gullane with the MRT Therapy Ponies! Come and say hello as they make their way around the village of Gullane.\n  \nThe MRT ponies and elves will be arriving at the Old Smiddy Green near the Christmas tree\, in Gullane\, on Sunday 15th December from 1pm. Santa and MRS Claus will meet them there; come and say hello and pop a penny in their buckets. \n  \nSanta’s MRT Pony Parade will then make their way round to the Muirfield Care Home car park on Hall Crescent\, before making their way to Memorial Park\, by Gullane Primary School at Muirfield Terrace. \n  \nWe’d love to see you all! \n
