Bluebell
Bluebell, affectionately known as “Bluey”, was a beautiful 15.3 Piebald mare with one blue eye and one brown one. She was gentle, intelligent and kind, and her riders on a Wednesday evening loved her.
Bluey arrived at MRT in 2012. When she returned to MRT following a short period of professional training, we thought she looked a slightly unusual shape….only to find out she was expecting an unexpected foal! A few days before Bluey was to due to return to her previous owner, Dusty arrived in the middle of a very surprised Friday afternoon session! Two years later, Bluey passed gently away to forever green pastures, remembered each May when the bluebells grow under the tree at MRT.
