Live! Edinburgh Kilt Walk 2022

Finally, after two years, the Edinburgh Kiltwalk is back, live in-person! We love The Kiltwalk here at MRT, it’s fun, friendly, keeps you fit whether you’re walking rolling, or pushing!
We’d love to encourage everyone to take part, especially participants and families, this year, and if you need someone to be your support person on the day, we have lots of willing volunteers to help!
This will be our 4th Kiltwalk, we love it for its friendly, team atmosphere, great route around Edinburgh and the finish line party! Not forgetting the phenomenal 50% top up from Kiltwalk’s Sir Tom Hunter on all donations fundraised by Kiltwalkers – wow!

4 STEPS TO TAKING PART:
1. Choose your preferred distance, three options to choose from: Mighty Stride (24 miles), Big Stroll (14.6 miles) and Wee Wander (approx. 3.5 – 4.5 miles).

Then, if you need someone to be your support person on the day, we have lots of willing volunteers to help, just get in touch with us here at MRT!

3. Get fit! Training with friends makes it more fun, so why not encourage your friends and family to sign up too. Check out our Team MRT – Kiltwalk Facebook group page and share your training with fellow Team MRT members!
4. Raise what you can! Whatever amount you manage to raise for us, we’ll be over the moon – thank you for choosing to support us!

We are a member group of Riding for the Disabled UK, based in East Lothian. The charity has been running for 33 years now. We’re a volunteer-led Centre providing pioneering, life changing equine facilitated therapy, free of charge. We’re fully self-funded, and events like this mean so much to us as a means of raising funds, with the phenomenal 50% top up from Sir Tom Hunter on all donations – wow!
