We are delighted to announce that Sarah Lang has been appointed as the new Chair of Muirfield Riding Therapy. Sarah has been a volunteer at MRT for many years and has a deep understanding of our organisation, our people and our culture. Her passion for MRT came through incredibly strongly during the selection process, as did her warmth, energy and genuine commitment to what we do.
Sarah said,
I’m looking forward to starting as chair of this wonderful charity and working with the talented board , our amazing staff and brilliant volunteers to keep building on the fabulous work we do supporting our riders to grow in skill and confidence and have fun in the saddle and at the yard. I’ve been a Tuesday morning volunteer for 13 years but can’t wait to meet more of our families sponsors and supporters and play a bigger role in the organisation.
She brings years of valuable experience having sat on, or chaired, other governing bodies within a number of organisations. James Logan, Trustee, at Muirfield Riding Therapy says,
